Celebrating 10 Years Of Empowering Youth Through Wrestling Across New England
Beat the Streets New England, a history-making coalition of Beat the Streets Providence and Boston Youth Wrestling, is celebrating over 10 years of delivering youth development programs across the region. We believe in a New England full of opportunities through wrestling, especially for our most vulnerable youth; we envision a future where all students succeed on the mat, in the classroom, and in life. We Engage, Enrich, Educate, Empower and Evolve the minds and lives of our young people.
Over the past decade, BTSNE has made an outsized impact throughout New England with wrestling-based initiatives that are designed to develop a goal-oriented mindset through on the mat training that translates into off the mat life skills.

Boston and Providence coming together is really something special. You have a group of leaders in one community say, you know what, they seem to be doing the same thing as us and I think we can be stronger together. And that is exactly right. In the next five years, BTSNE is going to have a significant impact on the opportunities for kids in communities they support. This leadership move is a huge step for Beat the Streets.
Jeff Marsh, Former Executive Director, Beat The Streets National
The Beat the Streets community believes that our young wrestlers from across the country deserve to be fully equipped as they embrace the sport of wrestling and all it has to teach, while also developing meaningful relationships with a community of teammates and mentor coaches that provides stability and a sense of empowerment.
