This week’s cold weather has us excited for our action packed summer full of travel, camps, clinics & competitions, youth jobs, and community work!
BTSNE has had a fantastic start to 2023. Our staff has grown, the number of youths we serve has increased, and most importantly, the number of unique competitions and summer experiences we have been able to share with our athletes –locally and nationally – has also expanded!

Beat the Streets National Duals. Sending 60 athletes and coaches on a week long trip full of training opportunities and capping off with the national dual championship tournament. While the boys’ team is looking to hunt down the title this year our girls’ team is coming back to
defend their crown as national champions

LSS: Lynn Shore Showdown,
August 5, 2023: Lynn MA
Hosting for the 7th year in a row on Lynn Beach, BTSNE is excited for our biggest year of Beach Wrestling, with athletes of all ages (K-Open) coming from all over New England to leave it all out on the sand before enjoying an afternoon of games on the beach! This tournament supports the growth of wrestling in Lynn and throughout the North Shore.

SUMMER SHUTDOWN CAMP
– August 14-18 2023: Providence RI
Then we get out wrestlers ready for back to school by hosting a week-long Folkstyle camp in partnership with the Providence Police Department & Providence Public Schools. This event includes clinicians from surrounding collegiate programs and National team members. The week ends with our community event on the last day of camp filled with games, activities, and back-to-school necessities for our kids.

Offering a competitive wage while managing their own business “The Hungry Wrestler”, our CIT program provides an innovative and holistic approach for our youth to develop their leadership and life skills. We focus on workforce readiness, health and wellness, mentor-coach training, and entrepreneurship!
