The 2022-2023 school year has kicked off, and the first signs of fall mean that our kids are preparing to officially get Back on the Mat!!
Help our kids be fully equipped as they embrace the sport of wrestling and all it has to teach, while also developing meaningful relationships with a community of teammates and coaches that provides stability and a sense of empowerment.
Did you know?
Children living in low-income communities, like the ones we serve, are 6x more likely to quit sports because of the associated costs of gear. (shoes, socks, headgear, workout clothes, mouthguards)
School sports budgets are being slashed every day, all across the country, and participation is costing families more and more money.
Approximately 655 youth were served in Boston and Providence during the 2021-2022 year. All 655 of our kids live in low-income households and were unable to afford their own equipment/ gear.
Kids want to wrestle!! This year we are preparing to get 750 student-athletes Back on the Mat in Boston, Providence, AND HARTFORD.
Your generous gift will help us fund our mission to give kids a fighting chance! 100% of your donation will directly support BTSNE youth with gear to practice and compete, and equipment to keep our kids safe and clean while providing snacks and meals to energize our athletes.
Every act of generosity helps us to engage, enrich, educate, empower and evolve our youth. Your gift unlocks wrestling-based youth development programming throughout New England helping us reach more kids and developing more coaches for the future. Trained mentor coaches provide building blocks such as building healthy relationships in order to navigate life transitions throughout middle school, high school, and whatever path our student-athletes pursue.
