This August you will meet our Coaches in Training cohort, you can pre-register for the 6th annual beach tournament or sign-up to volunteer at the beach event, and you can apply for serving on one of two open year-long Americorps positions! It's all here and more for this month!
Beat the Streets New England Spotlights Coaches In Training:
Young adults, graduating 8th grade up to graduating 12th grade are trained as next-generation local leaders through paid on-the-job coach skills paired with mentorship and acts of service in their communities during a 20-hour work week throughout the entire summer program. To become a USA wrestling certified coach, they have all earned their USAW Copper and Bronze Coach Certifications along with Safe Sport Certification. Year 2021, is the 6th season with over 62 alumni. We congratulate returning and new Coaches in Training!

Enter into the 6th Annual Lynn Shore Showdown Beach Wrestling Tournament on Saturday, August 7, 2021. The event will be held at the Lynn Shore/Nahant Beach near the Ward Bathhouse. The tournament will have Youth, High School, and Open Divisions.* All experience levels are encouraged to sign up!
