Covid Updates from the City of Providence

As of Monday, November 30, all high schools will shift to their limited in-person plans that were developed earlier this year. Indoor dining will be also be scaled back to 33 percent and all bars and bar areas will remain closed. All indoor gyms, fitness areas and recreational facilities will be closed and there will also be no organized school sports until January 2021, or when our community can contain the spread of COVID-19.

Additionally, effective immediately, social gatherings are limited to those within your immediate household. As recommended by the State, I am also encouraging everyone gathering with people outside of their household to please wear a mask, even in casual settings, as we know this is one of the highest points of transmission. In Providence, we are taking the extra step by reviewing and requiring approvals for all indoor catered events above 10 people and outdoor events above 25 people, with the same maximum capacity restrictions set forth by the State.

Team Store

We have a team store. Take a look! BTS will actually make 13% back of all of the sales from the store. 10% off is applied on the gear in the team store.

Amazon Smile

Beat the Streets Providence is grateful to Amazon for allowing us to participate in their AmazonSmile giving back program. Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible AmazonSmile purchases when you shop at https://smile.amazon.com/ch/90-1005526 and select Beat the Streets Providence as your charitable organization.

Giving Tuesday

On December 1, people all over the world will come together and harness the power of human connection to change our world. Will you join us to give kids a fighting chance?

Beat the Streets Boston, DBA Boston Youth Wrestling and Beat the Streets Providence are teaming up for GivingTuesday 2020, and we need YOUR help!

Here’s how you can get ready to help:

  • Mark your calendar: GivingTuesday is December 1, 2020. More details to follow!

  • Give: We are kicking off a special campaign to raise $50,000 to earn a matching $50,000.

Spread the word! Join our campaign not just as a donor but as a fundraiser, yourself. Use the special hashtag #Reset2020 so we can harness the power of social media and connection to help share your giving story!
